About Us

Why We Started Lunaria?

It started with a question I couldn't answer.

A friend in Los Angeles—brilliant, stressed, going through a divorce—asked me: "My therapist says I need to 'ground myself.' My yoga teacher says I need to 'protect my energy.' What does that actually mean? And why do I keep buying crystals that don't help?"

I didn't have an answer. Not a good one.

I grew up in a household where these things weren't mysterious. My mother knew which direction the bed should face. My grandfather knew which days were good for signing contracts. It was practical. It was ordinary. It was systematic.

But somewhere between generations and time zones, that system got lost. What reached the West was the surface—the pretty stones, the vague promises—without the framework that made it work.

So we built it back.

Lunaria is a translation project. We take the classical tools of Chinese metaphysics—Ba Zi, the Five Elements, Feng Shui—and make them usable for people living modern, Western lives. We don't ask you to believe in anything. We just ask you to try a different lens.

Here's how it works: You tell us when you were born. We map your elemental chart. Then we recommend stones, symbols, and practices that align with your constitution—not a generic "good luck" charm.

We design everything to be worn in the real world. Minimalist. Natural materials. Nothing that looks like a costume.

And we write. We explain. We teach. Because the goal isn't to sell you a bracelet. The goal is to give you a framework you can use for the rest of your life—with or without us.

That friend in Los Angeles? She wears a black obsidian bracelet now. Not because I told her to. Because she read the guide, did the chart, and decided it made sense for her.

That's the whole idea.

Welcome.
